Dreams
Home | The Horizon | So Warm | DreamsThis is my collection of dreams. These are the ones I thought worthy of retelling, and perhaps I took advantage of poetic license when doing so. Where better to draw inspiration from then one's subconscious mind? You'll see more come as I dream them up. | |
Heart of Gold - | This one is a little edgy. It's vaguely futuristic, but it leaves a lot up to the reader's imagination. It's still incredibly rough, but I wanted to get it out there. I will eventually do a major revision and complete it. I'll include more about the actual dream and the story later. |
Purple Haze - | This one is aimed more directly at believers, at Christians, as it is spiritual in nature. It might not be quite as frightening to a non-Christian, but I'm working to make it strike fear in the hearts of all who read it. |
Friendly Fire - | How many people would you trust with your life? Many take for granted those who they deem completely trustworthy. But what do you do when you have nobody and can trust no one? A take on what a life on the run looks like. |
M&M Murders - | What does it say about the state of the world when disputes over the ownership of dime-store candy ends in a gang knife fight? The future through the eyes of a cynical reporter. |
Identity Crisis - | Everyone has dreamt of having an out of body experience. Ever woken up to find it a reality? Everyone has seen the Matrix. How are you to tell the difference between the dream world and the real world? |
Porcelain Tubs, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb | "You're going to die in 15 minutes. Any questions?" There's no Dr. Strangelove, but there is a means to the end of the world. |
My Shepherd - | "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." A tribute to the Lord God Almighty and His amazing abundance of love for us all. A personal favorite of mine, told in the simplest ways with the simplest message. Written as if to a child, and for the children of God. May it feed the kid in us all. |
